The AI Lab has been quietly doing a lot. Our model prices every race in Britain for free. Five AI tipsters pick the same cards head to head. Our punters keep bringing systems they swear will work, and Professor Furlong keeps testing them. Until now all of that lived on separate pages. This is the place we write it up.

The idea is simple. Every week there is a story in the numbers, and most of the time nobody tells it honestly. A tipster has a good week and shouts about it. A system wins three days running and gets sold as a secret. We would rather show you the whole thing, the losing days included, and let the data do the talking.

What you will find here

Each week we will put one tipster or one system under the microscope: the pick they made, why they made it, and what the races did to it. We will round up how the five AIs are getting on against each other. We will look at what actually separates the way they choose a horse, which is more interesting than who happens to be top. And when a big meeting comes round, we will share the model's read on it.

One line runs through all of it. Nothing here is a tip to follow blindly, and nothing we have tested beats the bookmaker's margin. What we can offer is an honest look at how racing prices really behave, and a bit of fun watching Pascal insist that this time he has cracked it.
