Killarney July Festival 2026: the results, day by day

The Killarney July Racing Festival runs from Monday 13 to Friday 17 July 2026 on the edge of Killarney National Park. This is the results hub: each day's key winners, with starting prices, added and verified from source as the cards finish. Nothing is filled in ahead of time — a race appears only once it has been run and the result confirmed.

Five days that change character as the week goes on. Monday to Wednesday is evening Flat racing, building to the Listed Cairn Rouge Stakes on the Wednesday — the festival's only black-type race, for three-year-old fillies. Thursday switches to National Hunt with the week's feature handicap chase, and Friday closes with the afternoon Lee Strand Best Dressed Ladies Day, a jumps card topped by a feature handicap hurdle.

For the pre-festival picture — the five days, the feature races and where to watch — see our Killarney July Festival 2026 preview, for how the festival works year to year the evergreen Killarney July Festival guide, and for the countdown and all our coverage in one place the Killarney July Festival hub. Monday 13 July — the festival opens

The festival opens with an evening Flat card, first race 5:00pm. It is the quietest of the five days by design — the late start lets racegoers spend the afternoon on the lakes and in the National Park — and the card is one of handicaps and maidens, with the week's feature races still to come.

This section is updated with Monday's key winners and their starting prices once the races are run and the results are confirmed from source. Check back after racing on Monday 13 July.

For the shape of the week and the feature races ahead, see our Killarney July Festival 2026 preview.

Tuesday 14 July — the Flat leg builds

Tuesday brings more evening Flat racing, first race 4:35pm, and the meeting starts to build towards its midweek feature. The card typically mixes handicaps with a nursery or maiden for the two-year-olds, with the better horses pointed at Wednesday's black-type race.

This section is updated with Tuesday's key winners and their starting prices once the races are run and the results are confirmed from source. Check back after racing on Tuesday 14 July.

For the pre-festival picture, see our Killarney July Festival 2026 preview.

Wednesday 15 July — the Cairn Rouge Stakes

Wednesday is the pick of the Flat leg, first race 4:55pm. It stages the Listed Irish Stallion Farms EBF Cairn Rouge Stakes, the festival's only black-type race — run over a shade beyond a mile and, since 2025, restricted to three-year-old fillies, with €30,000 to the winner from a €50,000 fund. The top Flat yards target it, and it is the race of the week to follow from a form point of view. The card usually doubles as Family Day.

This section is updated with the Cairn Rouge winner, the placed fillies and their starting prices — plus Wednesday's other key results — once the race is run and confirmed from source. Check back after racing on Wednesday 15 July.

For the race's history, conditions and roll of honour, see our Cairn Rouge Stakes race guide.

Thursday 16 July — the switch to jumps

Thursday flips the meeting to National Hunt, first race 4:30pm. The feature is the week's big handicap chase over about 2m1f — historically the Bourn Vincent Memorial, now run under a rotating sponsor's title — worth roughly €26,550 to the winner in its most recent renewal. It is one of the busiest days of the festival, with hospitality sold out well in advance.

This section is updated with Thursday's feature winner and the day's other key results, with starting prices, once the races are run and confirmed from source. Check back after racing on Thursday 16 July.

For the shape of the week, see our Killarney July Festival 2026 preview.

Friday 17 July — Ladies Day

The week closes with its only afternoon card, first race 1:32pm: the Lee Strand Best Dressed Ladies Day, the busiest day of the festival. The racing is a National Hunt card built around a feature handicap hurdle over about 2m4f, with a pair of €10,000 bumper-style contests on recent cards. The Best Dressed Lady (sponsored by Lee Strand) and Best Dressed Gent (Dawn Milk) competitions run alongside the racing, judged from early in the day.

This section is updated with Friday's feature winner and the day's other key results, with starting prices, once the races are run and confirmed from source — along with the Best Dressed winners. Check back after racing on Friday 17 July.

For the fashion and the visitor's-eye view of Ladies Day, see the Ladies Day section of our festival guide.
