Navan names the Troytown, the Fortria and the Lismullen for the 2026 meeting but has not yet said which day each is run. The Troytown has been a Sunday race for the last ten years. The Fortria and the Lismullen have moved between the two days, so check the card once it is published.
Where the meeting fits
Navan comes a fortnight before the Fairyhouse Winter Festival, where the Hatton's Grace and the Drinmore are the first Grade 1s of the Irish jumps winter. After that come the Leopardstown Christmas Festival and the Dublin Racing Festival. Our festivals and big races board has every big meeting coming up, soonest first.
Results for every race go on our racing results page each evening, and this page adds the feature-race results within 24 hours.
The Troytown Chase
The Troytown Chase
The Troytown is a Grade 3 Handicap chase over 3m for horses aged four and over. It was a Grade B handicap rated 0-150 up to 2022 and has been a Grade 3 handicap since 2023. Fields are big, from 16 to 25 runners in each of the last ten runnings, so it is a hard race to find the winner of.
Gordon Elliott trained five of those ten winners, and only three favourites won. Answer To Kayf won in 2025 at 11/1 for Terence O'Brien.

How to watch and where to bet
How to watch and where to bet
Navan is a Racing TV course, and the festival's feature races are shown on Racing TV. The off times are confirmed in the week of the meeting, and this page shows the first race time above as soon as it is published.
The Troytown is a big-field handicap, while the Fortria and the Lismullen usually have small fields. Two things matter more than the size of a welcome offer:
- Best odds guaranteed. Early prices can move a long way before the off. A BOG bookmaker pays the starting price if it is bigger than the price you took. See our best BOG bookmakers.
- Free bets and their terms. Check the minimum odds and the expiry before you claim. Our free bet offers page compares them.

Mid-November racing can be cold and wet, and a day's card can be lost to the weather, as the Saturday was at the last running, when the Fortria and the Lismullen moved to the Monday. Dress for a cold afternoon and check the course's announcements before you travel.
