St Leger Festival 2026: the results, day by day
The Betfred St Leger Festival runs from Thursday 10 to Sunday 13 September 2026 at Doncaster, four afternoons on Town Moor built around the St Leger Stakes, the world's oldest Classic and the final leg of the British Triple Crown. This is the results hub: each day's key winners, with starting prices, added and verified from source as the cards finish. Nothing is filled in ahead of time. A race appears here only once it has been run and the result confirmed.
The week builds through Ladies' Day on Thursday and Cup Day on Friday to the Classic itself on Saturday, run over 1m6f115y on the long, fair Doncaster straight, before a closing card on Sunday. Stamina decides it: the St Leger is the longest of the five Classics and the only one open to both colts and fillies at the trip.

Friday 11 September: Cup Day
Friday belongs to the stayers. The Doncaster Cup (Group 2) is the closing leg of the Stayers' Triple Crown, after the Ascot Gold Cup and the Goodwood Cup, and one of the oldest continuously run races in the calendar.

Saturday 12 September: St Leger Day
The oldest Classic in the world, first run in 1776. The St Leger Stakes (Group 1) is run over 1m6f115y, the longest of the five Classics, and the final leg of the British Triple Crown. It is open to three-year-old colts and fillies alike, and it is decided on stamina in a way none of the other Classics are.
