This is the full roll of honour from 1970 to 2026 - every winning horse with its age, starting price, jockey and trainer - and the trends that only show up once you have the whole picture.
Every row is source-verified against two independent records, and where they disagreed the cell is left blank rather than guessed. The 2020 running, lost to the pandemic shutdown, is shown as not run.

What the trends tell you
Read these as history, not a system. The stand-out fact in the whole roll of honour is 1974, when Red Rum won the Scottish National weeks after his second Aintree Grand National - the only horse ever to take both in the same year. Beyond that the race spreads its winners widely, with Ken Oliver the most successful trainer of the modern era. Stamina and a clean round over the stiff Ayr fences matter more than market position.
